About Me
I first got my amateur radio license in 2013 while a member of the Bradley University Amateur Radio Club (BUARC) in Peoria, IL.
While a member of BUARC, I was active in HF contesting and growing the club. I also helped organize a few club VHF fox hunts and antenna games.
Since I graduated, I have been less active on HF due to space limitation for antennas. I have been experimenting with APRS on VHF building a Raspberry Pi breakout to interface with my Baofeng and older Icom radios. I also have been exploring SDRs with general receiving, digital mode spotting, and running a 978/1090MHz ADS-B feeder.
Recently, I have been trying QRP FT8 on my (tr)uSDX with improvised antennas.
